Robin Williams' latest comedy ‘Absolutely Anything’ has been scheduled to get a limited US release this May.
Williams died on August 11, 2014, just three weeks after completing his work in the comedy ‘Absolutely Anything’.
The film is finally getting a release in a limited number of the US theaters from May 12.
Simon Pegg as well as Kate Beckinsale star in the movie and Robin Williams has lent his voice the faithful dog of Pegg’s role.
Terry Jones directed the film from a script he co-wrote 20 years ago and the cast list continues with John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, and Michael Palin.
The comedy’s synopsis reads, “A disillusioned school teacher suddenly finds he has the ability to do anything he wishes - a challenge bestowed upon him by power-crazed aliens, watching him from space.”
Since the film has not been warmly welcomed by the critics and the fans, it doesn't seem like an appropriate farewell for Williams.
